Will 2D-X make it past one year? Pfft..!

This post is literally one giant photo dump from the latest 2D-X Bits and Bytes Gaming Meetup. Not only did we celebrate 2D-X‘ one-year anniversary, but one Mr. Jeffrey L. Wilson celebrated his 36th birthday. As such, wine was downed, beer was spilled, shots were gulped, “old man” jokes were tossed, and good times were had by all.  Big thanks to the guys from Plan8, SlashFilm, Aggrogate, The-Other-View, NerdBlerp, and all the other fine ladies and gents in attendance. If you’d like to use the images posted, please contact me at The Phoblographer.

Lastly, 2D-X would like thank Scott Fry of One PR Studio and  Jimmy Soga of XSEED GAMES for providing swag to hand out to the party-goers. Everyone in attendance scored Onni stress dolls, and two people were lucky enough to walk away with copies of XSEED’s Little King’s Story and Fragile Dreams. Thanks, XSEED!

BTW, check out the photo after the jump of one dude getting a bit too friendly with Little King’s Story. ‘Tis madness!

About - Chris Gampat’s love of video games started when he was a wee lad and played Golden Axe on his PC. Since then, he has played Counter Strike Source and Condition Zero professionally. These days, he enjoys games with endless re-playability and time wasters to help quick spurts of time pass by. Chris has worked for the blogs at the PCMag Network, Magnum Photos, Times Square Chronicle, Geek.com and others. He has had formal training in writing, photography and videography. Despite the craze over games like Guitar Hero, Chris firmly believes that nothing will replace the feel of his Fender Jazz Bass in his hands.
