Timothy Torres is a jack…of a few trades. Besides maintaining his personal pop culture blog, Grump Factory, he regularly writes for comedy site Julius Bloop, draws comics, tickles the ivories, and even reads books without pictures on occasion. He also performs improv, and acts in his spare time. In his spare, spare time, he plays anything and everything with pixels and polygons, and writes about it.

Chris Gampat’s love of video games started when he was a wee lad and played Golden Axe on his PC. Since then, he has played Counter Strike Source and Condition Zero professionally. These days, he enjoys games with endless re-playability and time wasters to help quick spurts of time pass by. Born in the Bronx and raised in Miami, Thomas Rivas has lived in almost every state at some point, so he’s decided to finally hang his hat where it all started. He’s a pretty big fan of comic book lore and some sci-fi, but anything with a great story catches his attention.

But until he gets a day job, he sleeps in late and plays old Sega games all day. Whatever, man, it’s the economy. Mike Dudczak has been many things in life: a son, an artist, a space cowboy, a lackadaisical ronin, a rat-tailed alchemist, and other protagonists from anime series – but he has always been a gamer, and he occasionally outsources a writer to make up his opinions. After he compensates his ghostwriter for the finished product, he copies it and pastes it as his own, and then rides off into the sunset. He also smells funny.

So did you hear the one about the hot girl who loves video games, zombie movies, and MMA? No?! Rayne is not your average girl. Blood, brawling, and video games are just as commonplace as her lip gloss and cell phone. Her love affair with video games began with the NES, and yes, Mario was her first. Her sincere belief: The real trouble with reality is that there are no power ups.
