Postal Babes for Android pays homage to the original Postal, a game known back in the day for its raunchiness, raw violence, and brutality. It’s been banned in many countries, but the freedom allowed on the Android platform, enables gamers to get their paws on this controversial game.  But is it actually good?

As a game that has been released already for the iPhone platform, Zenonia, is a game that translates well over to the Android system with some added features. The RPG game will remind players of Pokemon, Zelda, and many other Japanese RPG games that totally rock due to the immersive story line and varying gameplay tactics.

If you’re a fan of blowing up zombies without them attacking you, then you’ll probably love Flaming Zombooka. As a game that pays homage to both zombie games and a little bit of Duke Nuke’em, cubicle slaves will finally be able to take their rage out on zombies Shaun of the Dead style; but this time with a bazooka!

By all means, The 8-bit Left 4 Dead de-make that arrived in January should’ve been a one-off, but it turns out that more than one person likes the idea of taking a high-end 3D title and cramming it into a 2D field. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans will find that the 2D version [...]

Steambirds is perhaps the best TimeWaster I’ve played in a long time, no question about it. From the epic music, to the intelligent gameplay design, to the re-playability, this is a game that I can say I truly love to play and haven’t stopped since. Find out why after the jump.

Chris Gampat Nikon D3s PAX East Nintendo DSi XL (3 of 4)

The large screens makes it resemble a small book, actually. The screen doesn’t appear to be better than my DSi’s. It is not awkward to handle at all, and if by a miracle a seat is snatched on the NYC subway then you’ll be able to whip out your XL and have some pretty good gaming time. Standing though, the DSi is still king in my honest opinion.

Shank_Butcher_Throw_Blur

There’s just something that gets to you when you grab a guy, stick a knife into him and slam him over and over again. Speaking of which, Shank (the main character of the game) has knives, a chainsaw, guns, grenades and can get other weapons later on such as a shotgun (which we got to see a small glimpse of). You can do loads of things to your enemies, like grappling them, throwing them off buildings, and stringing together some of the most brutal combos seen in a 2D video game.

PAX East was so incredibly fun and was jam packed with awesome music, such as chiptunes. Here are a few of my favorite photos from those events. Expect loads more to be coming to my site, ThePhoblographer.com within the next two days along with a video performance. Also be sure to check out our cosplay gallery.
