Comic Jumper: The first 10 minutes of gameplay

Developer Twisted Pixel rocked the gaming world with two original IPs that garned much critical accliam (The Maw, Splosion Man), but the team isn’t resting easy on its successes. Comic Jumper: The Adventures of Captain Smiley, a side scrolling beat ‘em up that packs plenty of hand to face action (as well as double-gun blasting) looks to be another solid offering from the XBLA hit-maker.

The real gem in this 10-minute gameplay clip  is the dialogue; Twisted Pixel looks to embrace Comic Jumer: The Adventure of Captain Smiley‘s comic book routes by taking typical superheo conventions and adding a layer of Tick-like absurdity. Word on the block is that the brawler will be on display at PAX East 2010, so we’ll definitely hit up the Twisted Pixel booth for some hands-on time with this promising beat ‘em up that may out-Comix Zone Comix Zone.
