Glory of Heracles: Long-Running Japanese RPG Series Finally Coming to American Shores

It may lack the mantacular Kevin Sorbo, but the Nintendo-published Glory of Heracles may be worth a look when it descends upon the Nintendo DS/DSi on January 18th.
Penned by Kazushige Nojima of Final Fantasy fame, Glory of Heracles is a RPG based on Greek mythology. For those of you that have never seen Clash of the Titans or just happened to attend a really sucky high school, a glossary is included to detail the places and characters that our man-god encounters in his journey.

Players can opt to use the stylus or D-pad and buttons to control movement in the game, while the touch screen is required to complete optional challenges used to power up spells or skills during battle. Animated cut scenes add some spice to the mix.
Overall, it sounds like your average JPRG, with 2D sprites plastered against polygonal backgrounds. It is, however, the first entry in the long-running Japanese series to be released outside of Nippon, so it may be worth a pick up on the strength of that alone.
