The long-running King of Fighters franchise was birthed in 1994 when SNK Playmore decided to create a mash up of their past and then-present game characters into a knock-down, drag-out 3-on-3 2D fighting game. Nearly a decade and a half later, an intrepid 8-bit fan has wrangled up the Famicom’s greatest characters for a similar purpose in King of Famicom, a fab video edit job that must have taken forever. The creative battles are based on each character’s power ups and abilities, and the cliffhanger begs for a sequel. Any characters or teams that you feel were snubbed?
