Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Coming to XBLA on July 29th
Fighters — By Jeffrey L. Wilson on July 10, 2009 at 3:36 am
This July may prove to be one of the best months in fighting game history. Fans of the genre saw the release of BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, and they’re eagerly waiting the upcoming King of Fighters XII. Now you can add Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which will be available for download on XBLA for 1200 MSP.
Personally, I’ve never been a huge fan of the game thanks to its absolutely broken gameplay; slight variations on the Magneto/Storm/Sentinel super-team are all that’s seen during high-level play. Still, if you like crossover fighters and don’t study frame rates for fun, Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is an entertaining romp.
