Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Who’s on your wishlist?

After years of anxiously waiting for a new MVC title, fans have finally been appeased with the release of a teaser trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Using what appears to be the same engine as Street Fighter IV, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 takes the franchise for a ride into the next generation with noticeable design upgrades and an expanded roster that all are waiting to see unveiled completely. As we can see from the trailer, Chris Redfield from the Resident Evil series makes the list this time around and our old friend Iron Man gets a face-lift from his pre-Civil War days on the Dreamcast.

With just a few confirmed characters on the list so far, we’re asking you: Who would you like to see as a playable character in Marvel vs. Capcom 3?

    Deadpool. Make Deadpool happen. They have to put Deadpool in. Seriously.

    Mega Mans X and Zero. Bass/Forte could be good too.

    Arthur and Firebrand from the Ghouls and Ghosts/Gargoyle’s Quest series.

    X-51 the Machine Man, preferably with a Nextwave alternate costume.

    Nick Fury.

    Phoenix Wright.

    Viewtiful Joe.

    Anyone from Onimusha.

    She-Hulk.

    The Punisher.

    Oh, and Super-Skrull. Stretchy + fire + invisibility + strength = kicking Dhalsim’s ass everywhere. Like Dhalsim and Zangief’s alien son.

    I agree, the Super Skrull would be a bad ass boss. I’d also like to see Marvel pluck some of their lesser known characters who could translate well into a fighter. As a huge fan of the New Universe stuff back in the day, I would KILL to see Star Brand, Justice, or Spitfire.

    From Capcom’s Capcom, the dude from Forgotten Worlds, or one of the soldier from Legendary Wings.

    Forgotten Worlds Guy would be too generic, because he’s basically just… Contra Guy, only inexplicably flying. I’d love to see Hagar there, as a slightly less ridiculous Zangief character.

    Captain America looks to be in there, so I’m a happy fan boy.

    Deadpool is going to be in there, but my request is that he needs to know he’s in a videogame. (Making fun of button mashers, etc)

    8bit Mega Man since Capcom is on that boat right now. Done right…Not that kiddy crap done in the past.

    And my reaching request. Blanka, Vega. Vega vs Deadpool! Mask wearing narcissist.

    and AntMan/Giant Man, that’s right.. Ant Man with the Wasp. Cause damn it he deserves respect. Hell, every original Avenger.

    Ultimate story line versions of each Marvel character.

    oh and for the record, something wild to think about. Technically Kratos could be in the Japanese version.
