If iTunes is your method of scoring new music, be sure to download the retro-styled soundtrack from Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game. Be ABSOLUTELY sure, because it’s fantastic.
The band behind the tunes, Anamanaguchi, created the perfect sound-scape to match the beat ‘em up arcade action and crisp pixel art graphics. No other music would do. No other music could do. It’s so good the Scott Pilgrim movie would’ve benefited from it.
Head to ABKCO Music to listen to some samples. Another World is probably my favorite bit of music in the whole game. It encapsulates all the whimsy, adventure and romance of Scott’s wacky world pretty well. Maybe with some effort, you can turn the tunes into ringtones.
