shank Shank gets more bad ass with co op gameplay

Shank is bad ass, no doubt about it. From the first time I played it at PAX East 2010 til my most recent hands-on time at E3 2010, I’ve been raving about Klei Entertainment’s action-brawler to anyone within earshot. My only true complaint with the game? No co-op.

It seems that all of the feedback that I and other Shank lovers have given Klei Entertainment has paid off, as two-player co-op has been added to the game. But it isn’t a simple shoe-horned feature; Klei Entertainment has crafted a separate two-player mode with unique levels and bosses that tell Shank’s backstory.

So have a buddy handy when the game is released on August 24 (PSN, $15) and August 25 (1,200 MSP XBLA) for the big two consoles. A PC version will arrive this fall.
