4chan features the most epic Pokemon artwork ever

As a 22 year old guy, Pokemon really became big when I was around 13 years old: part of it was just how cool the creatures looked. I still know of college students that play the game for the sheer fun of it and the franchise has still lived on strong. While browsing through /b/ on 4chan (LINK NSFW) the other night, I came across a thread with awesome Pokemon artwork and photos that I thought I’d share with you all. If there were a game using some of the artwork I’m showing, I’d probably buy it in a heartbeat. More after the jump.

Best 2D Role Playing Game 2009: Pokemon Platinum

The Pokemon series has evolved tremendously from the days of Red and Blue with a long storyline that will keep you entertained and continually coming back for more. The gaming experience is still the same thing that made the originals and all predecessors work so well and appeal to all ages. With more species, gyms, towns etc, you’ll feel like you bought a whole slew of games instead of just one. The graphics are a bit more polished as well as the sound due to porting to the Nintendo DS(i). If you’re looking for a fun, lasting and unique portable gaming experience then Pokemon Platinum highly deserves your praise.
