Once upon a time, there was no such thing as online multiplayer. You blew into a cartridge, jiggled it around until your system read it and played a game until you beat it or hit your frustration limit and saved it for later. Whether it took you 3 hours or 3 days to complete, there was a sense of accomplishment and never a complaint about how long it took. You beat it… so that was that, right? Hell no. It may not have been in the days after or the weeks after or even the months after but at some point you remembered how fun it was and decided to play it all over again.
Pretty crazy, huh?

There’s just something that gets to you when you grab a guy, stick a knife into him and slam him over and over again. Speaking of which, Shank (the main character of the game) has knives, a chainsaw, guns, grenades and can get other weapons later on such as a shotgun (which we got to see a small glimpse of). After making his debut in 1995, Rayman will be coming to the iPhone and iPod touch soon. While I haven’t been a fan of it, I’ve always been a fan of the crazy ravin’ rabbids in the game. What’s awesome though is that this game looks so much like the old school consoles games. As Rayman, you must recapture the great Protoon after it has been stolen. You’ll also need to free the Electoons and restore the world’ harmony. It closely resembles and sounds like Sonic and even something like say the Lion King. Plus, it looks fun! What other need must you fulfill while sitting down in the subway waiting for the time to pass you by?
