KartRider Rush

Nexon’s popular kart racer KartRider Rush, launched for free on the Apple App Store today. The cutesy and colorful racer allows up to four players to compete simultaneously in battle and time trial modes. A single player mode lets players race against computer opponents in Item and Speed Mode, and players can compare each other’s scores and times online using Facebook Connect.

Check out the YouTube video from our 2D-X TV channel for a few details about Sonic 4 iPhone, a demonstration of the nifty rotation effects, accelerometer and virtual D-pad controls, and a quick history lesson about the process of resurrecting the 2D adventures of everyone’s favorite attitude-filled hedgehog from the early days of Project Needlemouse to the final stamp of approval. All in all it looks like a winner with charming graphics, old school loopy video game music, slick level design, and an incredible sense of speed.
