Earlier today we served up our latest Marvel vs. Capcom 3 impressions, but that wasn’t the only MvC3 news coming out of CES 2011. Capcom unveiled two new fighters that are a long time coming to the combat arena: Phoenix and Mike Haggar. They weren’t available for play at Capcom’s press suite, but we did get a chance to check out a gameplay video.
Put quite simply, these figures kick ass. Crafted by Dodge “Grundy” Beltran, these real-life representations of Mayor Mike Haggar and a pre-emo Cody were cobbled together Frankenstein-style from parts of other action figures and combined with new moldings and fresh paint jobs.
