If you’re a late ’80s/early ’90s kid, you’re probably familiar with R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps novels. They were scary, entertaining, and featured some pretty damned good writing. Now, how many of you remember the PC game, Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland? Not many perhaps. If you played it, you understand why that game scared the crap out of an entire generation: The game was basically a greenscreen with actors in monster suits popping out at you. Needless to say, it inspired a string of nightmares when I was eleven.

NY Comic Con descends upon NYC’s Jacob Javits Center once again for its annual showcase of all that is nerdy in the world of four-color funnies. I’m proud to say that the game seems to basically be just the old time sega games but with updated graphics and lighting. Things seem much brighter now. Additionally, things seem much less dangerous for Sonic this time around. To be fair, this is only a small snippet of footage.
It sounds and looks like the game, but it has yet to be seen whether or not it feels like the game.

Sure, Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes has been out for a little while now but this game sure has something special to it that not many Nintendo DSi games have: replayability. I’m not done with the game yet as I got it a couple of days ago for review. However, I can tell you that this is quite possibly the best RPG/Turn-Based Strategy game I’ve played in a very long time and it has me quite addicted. What’s to love about this game after the jump.
