As far as indie games go, this one isn’t half bad. Lair of the Evildoer lacks the spit shine and polish that one accustomed to having from a major (and it gets a fair bit repetitive), but the cartoony sprites and tons of charm should serve to entertain the casual gamer well enough. Just don’t expect a hardcore game-fest to come out of it, just some good clean fun, with the occasional undead creature.
