As if all the  games announced in the last few days weren’t enough gaming goodness, E3 2010 brings out one more nugget for us to savor: a concert.

Tommy Tollarico’s “Video Games Live: Bonus Round” is the sequel to the highly popular “Video Games Live,” the first and most successful video game concert tour in the world. It was so successful that it was transformed into a PBS special.

“Bonus Round” is the sequel to that special, and features even more of the greatest video game music of all time performed by a full symphony & choir combined with 3 massive synchronized video screens and plenty of interactive elements for the crowd.

It will feature music from Silent Hill, Shadow of the Colossus, Uncharted II, Assassin’s Creed II, Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger and Halo, as well as retro classics such as  Mega Man, Mario, and Zelda. Special guests including Silent Hill designer and composer Akira Yamaoka, and Metal Gear Solid series composer Norihiko Hibino. The latter will be performing “Snake Eater” from MGS 3 on saxophone with the symphony — not to be missed!

“Video Games Live: Bonus Round” goes down at the Nokia Theater in LA, June 17 8 pm sharp. Be there or be square. Tickets on sale now!

About - News and Culture Editor Laurie Vazquez really misses when all games were flat. Sure, she’s worked in television and veered off into film and television writing, but when she’s not whacking out scripts for contests (or, more likely, when she should be whacking them out) she fires up her beloved flat games. Take away her Nintendo, and she is a sad, sad girl. Just don’t take away her Futurama or her viola: that makes her mad.
