I don’t own a television, but I love Wipeout.
I first became acquainted with the property when I vacationed with a friend in Colorado. She’s a huge fan of the series (which bills itself as the “world’s largest obstacle course”), so over the course of my week’s stay, I became a fan, too. After all, how can watching people bust their humps over and over and over again ever get old?
It doesn’t, which is probably why Activision picked up the license. Featuring ragdoll physics, and over 50 courses, Wipeout: The Game may very well be what fans of the show have been waiting for.
Wipeout: The Game will be available for the Nintendo DS and Wii later this week.
